CDCFIB OPENS PORTAL FOR PHYSICAL SCREENING, DOCUMENT VERIFICATION FOR RECRUITMENT APPLICANTS
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced the commencement of the next phase of its ongoing 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, calling on shortlisted applicants to prepare for physical screening and document verification.
In an official statement released on Saturday by the Secretary of the Board, Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.), the agency directed candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 to check their application status through the official recruitment portal from June 15 to June 20, 2026.
According to the Board, applicants are expected to visit the official recruitment website at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng/ and log in using the application number generated during the initial registration process.
Successful candidates who progress to the next stage will be required to upload relevant credentials and choose their preferred dates and designated venues for the physical screening exercise.
The Board emphasized that applicants must carefully follow every instruction provided on the portal, noting that failure to comply with the requirements could lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.
Maj.-Gen. Jibril also issued a strong warning against fraudsters and unauthorized individuals claiming to offer assistance in exchange for payment.
He stressed that the entire recruitment process remains completely free and that no applicant should pay money to any person, group, agent or organization for services such as shortlisting, screening centre allocation, document uploads or final selection.
“The recruitment process is completely free. No fee should be paid to any individual, agent, group or organisation for any aspect of the exercise,” the statement said.
The CDCFIB further urged members of the public and applicants to ignore fake recruitment messages, suspicious online links and unauthorized persons falsely presenting themselves as representatives of the Board.
The agency clarified that all official updates concerning the recruitment exercise will only be communicated through its approved channels, particularly the official recruitment portal.
The Board reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a transparent, credible and merit-based recruitment process in line with established regulations and federal recruitment guidelines.
Interested applicants are advised to regularly monitor the official portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng/ for verified updates and instructions regarding the screening exercise.
