IKALE INDIGENE URGE PRINCE ADEFOLAYEMI ADEKANMI KENNYKUMA TO ANSWER CALL FOR HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES RACE

A group of concerned indigenes from Ikale land has publicly appealed to Prince Adefolayemi Adekanmi, popularly known as Kennykuma, to consider contesting for the House of Representatives seat representing Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency.

In a statement made available to Opima RealNews, the group described the current political climate as one that requires individuals with integrity, compassion, and a proven record of community service. They noted that individuals with consistent philanthropic engagement and grassroots involvement are increasingly rare in public service.

According to the statement, Prince Adekanmi’s longstanding involvement in humanitarian and community development initiatives has positioned him as a credible figure capable of contributing meaningfully to legislative representation at the federal level. The group highlighted what they described as his leadership capacity and commitment to the welfare of the people as qualities needed to advance development in the constituency.

The Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency, located in Ondo State, comprises communities within Irele and Okitipupa Local Government Areas. The constituency plays a strategic role in the socio-economic development of the southern senatorial district of the state.

The concerned indigenes expressed confidence that Prince Adekanmi’s potential candidacy would inspire renewed civic participation and strengthen representation at the National Assembly. They urged him to heed what they termed a “clarion call” from the people, emphasizing their readiness to support his decision should he choose to enter the race.

As of the time of filing this report, Prince Adefolayemi Adekanmi has not publicly declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat.

Further developments are expected as political consultations continue within the constituency.
