APC Disowns Viral 2027 Nomination Form Price List, Labels Report Fake

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as false a viral report alleging the prices of its expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.

In an official statement released on Saturday, the party said the widely circulated “price list” did not originate from its leadership and should be disregarded.

National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, described the report as misleading and lacking any basis in fact, stressing that no official announcement has been made regarding nomination forms for the upcoming elections.

“The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to a false and misleading report circulating in sections of the media regarding a purported ‘price list’ for expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 General Elections,” the statement read.

Morka clarified that the party has not taken any decision on the sale or pricing of forms, noting that the information being shared is entirely unfounded.

“To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections. The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” he added.

The ruling party urged its members, media stakeholders, and the general public to rely only on verified information from official APC communication channels.

The clarification comes amid increasing political conversations ahead of the 2027 general elections, although major parties are yet to release formal guidelines for aspirants.
