OTUNBA OLORUNYOMI DECLARES BID FOR ONDO ASSEMBLY, PROMISES DATA-DRIVEN LEADERSHIP FOR ODIGBO

Otunba Dotun Olorunyomi has formally declared his intention to contest for the Odigbo Constituency 1 seat in the Ondo State House of Assembly, outlining a vision centred on inclusive governance, technological innovation, and measurable development.

In his official declaration, Olorunyomi described his ambition as a call to service rather than a personal pursuit, emphasizing his readiness to represent the interests of constituents with transparency, accountability, and practical solutions.

He highlighted his background in Information Technology and systems thinking as key strengths he intends to leverage in delivering responsive and efficient representation. According to him, his approach will focus on building a “smart and connected constituency” where development initiatives are guided by data and opportunities are accessible to all residents.

Olorunyomi also underscored his commitment to addressing the needs of various segments of the constituency, including youths, the elderly, and vulnerable groups such as widows. He noted that youth empowerment would remain a priority, stressing the importance of creating sustainable pathways for economic growth and personal development.

“I understand the realities of our people because I am part of the community,” he stated, adding that he is prepared to provide leadership rooted in integrity and inclusiveness.

He further called for collective participation in shaping the future of Odigbo Constituency 1, reiterating his belief in purposeful leadership and steady progress.

The declaration marks the beginning of what is expected to be a closely watched political contest in the constituency ahead of the next legislative elections.
