HON. ADEBARE FELICITATES MUSLIM FAITHFUL ON EID-EL-ADHA, CALLS FOR UNITY AND PEACE


The Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Hon. Adebare Adeboye, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful in the local government area and across Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Adha festival.

In his goodwill message released on Tuesday, the council chairman described Eid-el-Adha as a sacred season that reflects the values of faith, obedience, sacrifice, and total devotion to Almighty Allah.

Hon. Adeboye noted that the festival remains a strong reminder of the exemplary virtues demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS), particularly selflessness, patience, compassion, and unwavering submission to the will of God.

According to him, the celebration also presents an opportunity for residents to deepen the spirit of unity, peaceful coexistence, and mutual understanding within their communities.

He urged the people of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government to continue embracing peace, love, and harmony irrespective of religious or political affiliations, stressing that sustainable development can only flourish in an atmosphere of unity and collective responsibility.

The chairman further encouraged residents to extend support to the less privileged and uphold the values of kindness and generosity during the festive season.

“On behalf of the government and entire leadership of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, I pray that Almighty Allah accepts your sacrifices, answers your prayers, and blesses every home with happiness, divine favour, and lasting peace,” he stated.

Hon. Adeboye also prayed that the Eid-el-Adha celebration would usher in renewed hope, prosperity, and abundant blessings for the people and the nation at large.

He wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration.
