ONDO CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION ANNOUNCES RECRUITMENT OF LEGAL OFFICERS


The Ondo State Civil Service Commission, Akure, has announced the recruitment of qualified candidates for the position of Senior State Legal Counsel, Grade Level 10, in the Ministry of Justice, Alagbaka, Akure.

According to the public service announcement released by the commission, interested applicants must be qualified to practice as Solicitors and Advocates in Nigeria with not more than two years post-call experience.

The commission stated that the application portal opened on Monday, May 25, 2026, and will close on Monday, June 1, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

The commission outlined the following conditions for applicants seeking the legal officer position:

Candidates must possess both a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a Call-to-Bar certificate from a recognized university.

Applicants must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme where applicable.

Candidates must be computer literate.

Applicants must not be more than 45 years old.

Candidates must be physically and mentally fit.

Applicants are required to present a duly signed Certificate of State of Origin.

Birth Certificate or Affidavit of Declaration of Age must also be submitted.

The announcement was signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ondo State Civil Service Commission, Omotayo Akeju.

Residents and qualified legal practitioners across the state have been encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity before the application deadline.
