ROTIMI AKINWAMIDE, OTHERS EMERGE AS APC CONCLUDES ONDO ASSEMBLY PRIMARIES
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded its House of Assembly primary elections in Ondo State, with winners emerging across several constituencies ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Among those who secured the party’s ticket is Rotimi Akinwamide, who emerged as the APC candidate for the Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo State Constituency.
The exercise, monitored by party officials and stakeholders, was conducted across different parts of the state as aspirants contested for the party’s ticket to represent their constituencies in the Ondo State House of Assembly.
According to reports monitored by Opima RealNews, the primary election process was largely peaceful, with party leaders expressing satisfaction over the conduct of delegates and electoral officials during the exercise.

Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Constituency — Rotimi Akinwamide
Akoko South West Constituency I — Olugbenga Omole
Akoko South West Constituency II — Olaniran Olanusi
Akoko North East Constituency — Ogunyemi Olumiyiwa
Party members and supporters were seen celebrating after the announcement of results, while APC leaders urged all aspirants and their supporters to remain united ahead of the general elections.
Speaking after the exercise, party stakeholders emphasized the need for reconciliation and collaboration among members to strengthen the APC’s chances in the upcoming polls.
The Ondo APC leadership also commended delegates and electoral officials for ensuring a transparent and orderly process throughout the primaries.
