SENATE PRESIDENT GODSWILL AKPABIO CALLED TO THE NIGERIAN BAR IN ABUJA


Senate President Godswill Akpabio has officially been called to the Nigerian Bar, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey.

The Call to Bar ceremony, held in Abuja, saw Akpabio join other successful candidates as they were formally admitted as legal practitioners in Nigeria. The event was conducted by the Body of Benchers, the apex body responsible for regulating admission into the legal profession.

Speaking after the ceremony, Akpabio described the Call to Bar as the beginning of a lifelong commitment to justice, integrity, and service. He said the occasion serves as a reminder of the enduring responsibility legal practitioners share in upholding the rule of law and strengthening the institutions that sustain Nigeria's democracy.

The Senate President expressed appreciation for the opportunity to join the legal profession and reaffirmed his commitment to the principles of justice, professionalism, and ethical service.

The ceremony marked the formal induction of newly qualified lawyers into the Nigerian Bar, ushering them into the legal profession with the responsibility of promoting justice and defending the rule of law.
