APC DEBUNKS VIRAL MEMBERSHIP SLIP LINKING TERROR KINGPIN TURJI TO PARTY

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has strongly dismissed as false and misleading a viral membership slip circulating on social media, which allegedly links notorious terrorist Mohammed Bello Turji to the ruling party.

In a press statement issued on Tuesday, the APC described the document as a complete fabrication, stressing that it has no connection whatsoever to the party’s membership register or database under the ongoing Electronic Registration and Validation Exercise.

According to the party, all digital and identification parameters displayed on the purported membership slip are invalid and do not correspond with any authentic APC records. The APC further pointed out that the slip claims registration in a nonexistent “Ward 13” of Shinkafi Local Government Area in Zamfara State, whereas the local government officially has only 10 wards.

“The membership slip is fake, forged, and entirely disconnected from our party’s database,” the APC stated, adding that the information paraded on the document is fictitious and deliberately designed to mislead the public.

The ruling party accused mischief makers of orchestrating the fabrication to sow confusion and advance sinister political motives, describing the act as vile and highly offensive.

The APC urged its members and the general public to disregard the document in its entirety, reaffirming that Mohammed Bello Turji is not and has never been a member of the party.
