 PUBLIC SAFETY FOR A BRIGHTER 2026: ONDO STATE GOVERNMENT URGES URGES CITIZENS



 - Make Safety a year-round priority



In a warm New Year message, Hon. Wellington Oriade Adebawo, Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Emergency Response and Safety Enforcement, extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Ondo State and Nigerians at large as 2026 begins.


As the state steps into the new year, Hon. Adebawo called on all citizens to place safety at the forefront of daily life. His appeal covers every aspect of living—from the safety of homes and on the roads to behavior in public spaces.


He emphasized that safety must be a year-round priority, not only during New Year celebrations.


The message also conveyed earnest wishes for a year filled with peace, joy, and prosperity for all residents. Beyond greetings, Hon. Adebawo reaffirmed his commitment to promoting public safety and emergency preparedness across Ondo State, signaling continued efforts to strengthen safety protocols and readiness for emergencies.


“Stay safe and have a happy and fulfilling New Year,” he said, closing his message with a note of optimism for 2026.
