APC RELEASES NOMINATION FEES FOR 2026 CONGRESSES AND NATIONAL CONVENTION POSITIONS


The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the official fees for the purchase of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for aspirants seeking party positions at the ward, local government, state, zonal, and national levels ahead of its 2026 congresses and national convention.

The fees are contained in an adjusted timetable issued by the party and signed by the National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR.

According to the document, the fees vary by level and position, with lower charges at the ward level and significantly higher fees for leadership positions at the state and national levels.

Ward Level

Aspirants at the ward level are required to pay ₦5,000 for the Expression of Interest form across all positions.

Nomination Form fees are structured as follows:

Ward Chairman: ₦20,000

Ward Secretary: ₦15,000

Ward Treasurer: ₦15,000

Ward Vice Chairmen and other ward offices: ₦15,000 each

Local Government Area (LGA) Level

For local government positions, the Expression of Interest form costs ₦10,000 for all offices.

Nomination Form fees include:

LGA Chairman: ₦100,000

LGA Vice Chairman: ₦50,000

LGA Secretary, Treasurer, and other LGA offices: ₦50,000 each

State Level

At the state level, aspirants are required to pay ₦50,000 for the Expression of Interest form for all positions.

The Nomination Form fee for State Chairman is pegged at ₦1,000,000, while fees for other state executive positions are outlined in the official APC timetable released by the party secretariat.

Zonal and National Levels

The party also released fees for zonal and national offices, with higher charges reflecting the strategic importance of the positions. Full details are contained in the official congress guidelines issued by the APC National Secretariat.

Party officials stated that the fee structure is part of preparations to ensure an orderly, transparent, and constitutionally compliant congress process ahead of the 2026 national convention.

The APC has urged interested members to adhere strictly to the timetable and guidelines, warning that failure to comply with stipulated procedures may lead to disqualification.
