N-POWER BENEFICIARIES TO RECEIVE PAYMENT OF OUTSTANDING STIPENDS

The National Leadership of N-Power Beneficiaries has announced that recent engagements in Abuja have yielded positive outcomes, raising expectations for the imminent payment of outstanding stipends owed to beneficiaries across the country.

In a statement issued on Friday, the leadership disclosed that a series of peaceful advocacy activities and sustained consultations with relevant authorities resulted in strong assurances that the delayed payments would commence soon.

According to the group, the development aligns with a recent public video statement by the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, in which the Federal Government reaffirmed its commitment to resolving pending payment issues affecting N-Power beneficiaries. The leadership noted that its engagements with key government stakeholders further reinforced confidence that the matter is receiving urgent attention.

The beneficiaries’ representatives described the Abuja engagements as constructive, emphasizing that dialogue and non-violent advocacy played a crucial role in securing the assurances.

While acknowledging the progress made, the leadership urged beneficiaries nationwide to remain united, vigilant, and actively engaged until full payment is effected. Beneficiaries were also encouraged to continue sharing verified updates, including official videos and photographs from advocacy activities, across social media and other platforms to maintain public visibility and accountability.

The group stressed that sustained awareness and collective action remain essential to ensuring the timely implementation of the commitments made by authorities.

N-Power, a flagship social investment programme of the Federal Government, was established to provide skills development and income support for young Nigerians. Delays in stipend payments in recent months have sparked concerns among beneficiaries, leading to advocacy efforts aimed at drawing government attention to the issue.
