SENATOR TOFOWOMO CONGRATULATES YOUNGER BROTHER, ABIMBOLA TOFOWOMO ON HIS ELEVATION AS PERMANENT SECRETARY, COMMENDS AIYEDATIWA
Former Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly, Nicholas Tofowomo, has congratulated his younger brother, Tpl. Abimbola Tofowomo, on his confirmation and appointment as Permanent Secretary in the Ondo State Civil Service.
The appointment was approved by Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, as part of recent senior civil service appointments aimed at strengthening public administration and service delivery in the state.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Senator Tofowomo described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that his younger brother’s elevation reflects years of diligence, professionalism and unwavering commitment to public service.
He said the new Permanent Secretary had earned the responsibility through consistent dedication and integrity within the Ondo State Civil Service.
The former lawmaker also commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for what he described as a transparent and merit-driven appointment process, stressing that competence and quality of service remain central to the administration’s governance philosophy.
According to him, the exercise demonstrated fairness and impartiality, reinforcing public confidence in the state government’s approach to institutional leadership and administrative efficiency.
Senator Tofowomo, who served in the 9th National Assembly and was widely regarded for effective legislative engagement and constituency representation, is currently warming up for a return to the Senate in the 11th National Assembly, following his unsuccessful bid in the 10th Assembly elections.
He expressed confidence that the new Permanent Secretary would justify the trust placed in him and contribute meaningfully to effective governance, policy implementation and administrative growth in Ondo State.
The former senator concluded by wishing his younger brother wisdom, strength and success as he assumes his new responsibilities in the state civil service.
