AKINFOLARIN HAILS PEACEFUL APC WARD CONGRESS

Declares new political era in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo

Hon. Ch. Akinfolarin Johnson Akinbusola, popularly known as Florida, the Honourable Councillor representing Ward I in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, has congratulated the newly elected executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in his political ward, describing the just-concluded congress as peaceful, orderly and well organized.

In a statement made available to Opima RealNews, the councillor commended party members and leaders for their commitment to unity and internal democracy throughout the process. He noted that the smooth conduct of the exercise reflects the growing political maturity within the party at the grassroots level.

According to him, the emergence of the new ward executives marks the beginning of what he described as “a new era for a new political dispensation,” aligning with broader governance objectives at both the state and federal levels.

Hon. Akinfolarin specifically appreciated the leadership and support of the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, commending the administration’s EASE agenda. He stated that the policy direction has continued to strengthen party cohesion and governance structures across the state.

He further noted that the development in Ward I resonates with the Renewed Hope agenda of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, emphasizing that grassroots political stability remains essential to the success of national development initiatives.

The councillor also extended special congratulations to the newly elected Ward Chairman, Mr. Obiyemi Obilana, describing his emergence as “a round peg in a round hole.” He referenced Obilana’s previous political engagements and experience, expressing confidence in his capacity to lead the ward effectively and further strengthen the party’s structure.

Hon. Akinfolarin reaffirmed his commitment to working collaboratively with the new executives to consolidate the party’s presence in the local government area and advance inclusive development for residents of Ward I.

The APC ward congress in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government is part of ongoing internal party processes aimed at repositioning the party ahead of future political activities within Ondo State.
