SECURITY FORCES REPEL LATE SUNDAY NIGHT BANDIT ATTACK IN KWARA COMMUNITY
Combined security operatives have successfully repelled a bandit attack in Share community, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, following an intense exchange of gunfire that lasted for about one hour late Sunday night.
Local security sources confirmed that suspected bandits launched the attack on the community during the late hours of Sunday, prompting a swift response from joint security forces comprising military personnel and other operatives. The confrontation reportedly led to a sustained gun battle before the attackers were forced to retreat.
Sources said the exchange of gunfire created tension across parts of the community, but security forces were able to restore calm after repelling the assailants.
