OLORUNTOBA TUNBOSUN URGES SPIRITUAL RENEWAL, NATIONAL UNITY AS RAMADAN BEGINS
Akure, Nigeria —
The Founder of Community Advantage Africa, Mr. Oloruntoba Tunbosun, has called on Muslims across Nigeria to embrace spiritual renewal, compassion, and unity as the holy month of Ramadan commences.
In a Ramadan goodwill message issued on Friday, Tunbosun described the sacred period as a time for deep reflection, moral refinement, and renewed devotion to God, urging adherents of Islam to allow the values of the season to positively shape both personal conduct and communal relationships.
According to him, Ramadan serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of self-discipline, introspection, and commitment to righteousness, noting that the annual fast offers an opportunity for believers to strengthen their relationship with the Almighty while promoting peace and understanding in society.
“Ramadan is a season of transformation that nurtures compassion, empathy, and kindness,” Tunbosun said. “As Muslims fast, pray, and reflect on the teachings of the Holy Qur’an, it is essential that these spiritual exercises translate into justice, mercy, humility, and love in daily interactions.”
The Community Advantage Africa founder further emphasized the need for stronger bonds within communities, encouraging Nigerians to use the period to promote mutual support, tolerance, and cooperation across religious and social lines.
He expressed optimism that collective prayers and acts of goodwill during the holy month would contribute to national harmony and development, particularly at a time when Nigeria continues to face social and economic challenges.
Tunbosun also offered prayers for the country, calling on Allah to bless Nigeria with peace, stability, and sustained progress.
“As we observe this blessed month, let us work together to build a more inclusive and prosperous society,” he added, while wishing Muslims a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan.
Ramadan, observed by Muslims worldwide, is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is marked by fasting from dawn to sunset, increased prayers, charity, and acts of kindness.
