JANET ADEYEMI COMMENDS FOUNDERS, PRAISES AIYEDATIWA’S LEADERSHIP

Former federal lawmaker, Engr. Hon. Mrs. Janet Febisola Adeyemi, has congratulated the Government and people of Ondo State on the occasion of the state’s 50th anniversary, describing the milestone as a moment for reflection, gratitude, and renewed commitment to progress.

In a statement marking the Golden Jubilee of the Sunshine State, Adeyemi noted that the creation of Ondo State on February 3, 1976, marked the beginning of a journey characterised by resilience, enterprise, cultural pride, and steady development over the past five decades.

She paid tribute to the founding fathers and mothers of the state, acknowledging their vision, sacrifices, and commitment which, according to her, laid the enduring foundation upon which Ondo State continues to grow.

Adeyemi stated that Ondo State has produced men and women of exceptional character who have contributed significantly to national development across governance, education, industry, culture, and public service. She said the Golden Jubilee provides an opportunity to honour these achievements while renewing collective resolve to build a more inclusive and prosperous future.

The former House of Representatives member also commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his leadership at what she described as a significant moment in the state’s history. She praised the governor’s commitment to continuity, stability, and people-focused governance, expressing confidence in the state’s development trajectory under his administration.

Adeyemi further extended her congratulations to the people of Ondo State, describing them as resilient, peace-loving, and industrious, and urged sustained unity and cooperation in advancing the state’s development goals.

She expressed optimism that the Golden Jubilee would usher in renewed hope, stronger unity, and accelerated progress across all sectors of the state.
