Today, we proudly celebrate 50 years of identity, progress, challenges transformed into strength, and hope continually renewed. From our rich cultural heritage to our resilient people; from fertile lands to brilliant minds, Ondo State remains a shining beacon in Nigeria’s unfolding story.

As the Sunshine State marks this Golden Jubilee, I specially acknowledge the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whose stewardship at this defining moment in our history embodies continuity, stability, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

May the sun never set on Ondo State.

May our light shine brighter than ever.

Mathew Oye Oyerinmade, popularly known as MATO, has emerged as the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives Primary Election for Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency in Ondo State, defeating incumbent lawmaker, Hon. Festus Adefiranye, by a wide margin.
