TINUBU TO SECURE MASSIVE SOUTH-EAST VICTORY, UZODIMMA PREDICTS
The Governor of Imo State and Director-General of Renewed Hope Nigeria, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has reiterated the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) commitment to supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking in Umuahia, Abia State, during the inauguration of the state Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), Uzodimma expressed confidence that President Tinubu would achieve a substantial victory across the South-East region.
Represented at the event by the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Barr. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Uzodimma tasked the newly inaugurated ambassadors with mobilising grassroots support throughout local government areas, emphasizing their role in bridging communication between communities and the government.
“Renewed Hope is more than a political initiative; it is a platform for addressing the aspirations of Nigerians,” Uzodimma stated. “As ambassadors, you are the human face of this initiative. Your responsibility is to engage communities, understand their needs, and ensure these concerns are communicated effectively to the government.”
The APC State Chairman in Abia, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbo, commended President Tinubu for prioritising South-East development, citing projects such as the South-East Development Commission, the approval of Abia Airport, and a modular refinery. Ononogbo described the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors as the beginning of a new chapter in regional engagement and governance advocacy.
Chief Henry Ikoh, State Coordinator of Renewed Hope Agenda, highlighted that the ambassadors would work closely with the Abia APC to promote President Tinubu’s achievements and strengthen grassroots support for his re-election in 2027.
Party chieftains, including Paul Ikonne and former Senator Nkechi Nwogu, emphasised that the ambassadors would act as foot soldiers, ensuring widespread awareness of the president’s performance and mobilising voters across all wards and local government areas.
“The Renewed Hope Ambassadors will advance the message of the president’s accomplishments, grounded in facts and verifiable outcomes,” Ikoh added, underscoring the initiative’s focus on civic engagement, political education, and constructive dialogue.
The event also featured the commissioning of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ office in Abia State, marking the formal launch of the initiative’s grassroots operations in the region.
