HON. ADEBARE ADEBOYE CELEBRATES MOTHERS, COMMENDS THEIR ROLE IN BUILDING STRONG FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES


The Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Hon. Adebare Adeboye, has extended warm felicitations to mothers across the local government area and beyond on the occasion of the 2026 Mother’s Day celebration.

In a goodwill message issued on Sunday, the Chairman described mothers as the pillars of families and critical contributors to the development of society through their sacrifices, dedication, and nurturing roles.

Hon. Adebare noted that the influence of mothers in raising responsible children, building stable homes, and instilling moral values remains vital to the growth and stability of communities. He added that the resilience and commitment demonstrated by mothers continue to shape a more compassionate and progressive society.

According to him, Mother’s Day provides an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of women who play significant roles in sustaining families and supporting community development.

“Mothers remain the foundation upon which families and societies are built. Their patience, care, and selfless devotion continue to inspire generations and contribute immensely to building a better and more stable society,” he said.

The Chairman commended mothers in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government for their immense contributions to family development, community progress, and nation-building.

He further assured that his administration will continue to support policies, programmes, and initiatives aimed at promoting the welfare, empowerment, and overall well-being of women and mothers within the local government.

Hon. Adebare also encouraged families and communities to continually appreciate, honour, and support mothers in recognition of their invaluable roles in shaping the future.

He concluded by wishing all mothers a joyful and fulfilling Mother’s Day celebration.
