HON. OLU AKINYUGHA HONOURS MOTHERS, PRAISES THEIR SACRIFICES ON 2026 MOTHER’S DAY


The Chairman of Ile-Oluji West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Apostle Olu Akinyugha, has extended warm felicitations to mothers as they commemorate Mother’s Day 2026, acknowledging their vital contributions to families, communities, and society at large.

In a goodwill message released on the occasion, the council chairman described mothers as the foundation of strong families and communities, noting that their dedication, compassion, and sacrifices continue to shape the moral and social fabric of society.

Hon. Akinyugha commended mothers for their tireless efforts in nurturing children, supporting families, and providing guidance that promotes stability and growth within communities.

According to him, the roles played by mothers go beyond the home, as they also contribute significantly to community development, spiritual growth, and nation-building.

He expressed appreciation to mothers within the LCDA and beyond for their commitment to raising responsible individuals and for their continuous support toward building a better society.

The chairman also acknowledged the influence of mothers who serve as caregivers, mentors, and role models, stating that their impact is deeply felt across generations.

Hon. Akinyugha offered prayers for continued strength, protection, and divine guidance for mothers, while wishing them joy, peace, and fulfillment.

The message was conveyed through Comrade Akomolafe Adesanmi, Special Assistant to the Chairman, Ile-Oluji West LCDA.
