NUIS EXTENDS EID-EL-FITR GREETINGS TO MUSLIM FAITHFUL, CALLS FOR UNITY AND PEACE

The National Union of Ile-Oluji Students (NUIS) has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a goodwill message signed by its leadership, the student body congratulated Muslims for the discipline, devotion, and spiritual commitment demonstrated during the period of fasting, prayer, and reflection.

The union described Eid-el-Fitr as a significant moment not only for celebration but also for deep gratitude, unity, and renewed faith. It emphasized the importance of sustaining the values of kindness, charity, compassion, and peaceful coexistence cultivated during Ramadan.

NUIS noted that the season offers an opportunity to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and promote harmony across communities, regardless of differences. The association urged Nigerians, particularly students and youths, to continue to uphold these virtues in their daily lives.

The union also prayed for the acceptance of the prayers, fasting, and good deeds of Muslim faithful, while wishing them continued peace, good health, and prosperity.

“May the spirit of Eid inspire unity and foster peaceful coexistence among all,” the statement read.

The message was jointly endorsed by the NUIS National President, Comrade Senator Ejifunmilayo Faith (Eji Baller); National Secretary, Comrade Adejayan Alex; and National Public Relations Officer II, Lady Comrade Attama Perpetual.
