YAN ONDO CHAPTER CONGRATULATES TAIWO OYEDELE ON MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENT


The Ondo State Chapter of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) has congratulated Professor Taiwo Oyedele on his appointment as Minister of State for Finance.

In a statement signed by the Speaker of the state chapter, Rt. Hon. Isaiah Oyawale, the youth body described the appointment as a recognition of competence, integrity, and years of professional excellence in fiscal policy and economic reform.

According to the statement, Oyedele’s emergence reflects his longstanding commitment to national development and sound economic management, noting that his experience in taxation, fiscal policy and economic advisory roles positions him well for the responsibility ahead.

The group expressed confidence that his expertise would contribute to strengthening financial policies, promoting sustainable economic growth, and enhancing transparency within the nation’s fiscal system.

The youth assembly further stated that Ondo State is proud of the achievement, describing it as an inspiration to young people across the state and the country.

Professor Oyedele was recently nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Minister of State for Finance, subject to confirmation by the Senate. Prior to his nomination, he served as Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms.

The YAN Ondo Chapter wished him wisdom and strength as he assumes the new role, expressing optimism that Nigeria stands to benefit from his leadership.
