 RAMADAN CELEBRATION: AKINDOLIRE URGES UNITY, PEACE AS HE GREETS MUSLIMS IN ONDO


The Ondo State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Olaoluwa Akindolire, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across the state on the occasion of the Ramadan celebration.

In a goodwill message, Akindolire described Ramadan as a sacred period in the Islamic calendar, characterized by spiritual reflection, self-discipline, sacrifice, and devotion to Almighty Allah. He noted that the values promoted during the holy month—such as patience, compassion, generosity, and unity—are essential for strengthening social harmony and promoting sustainable development.

The commissioner commended the Muslim community for their dedication to fasting, prayers, and acts of charity throughout the Ramadan period. He encouraged them to sustain these virtues beyond the season, emphasizing their importance in building a more cohesive and responsible society.

Akindolire also called on all residents of Ondo State to continue fostering peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and collective responsibility, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds. He stressed that unity and cooperation remain key drivers of progress and stability within the state.

Reaffirming the commitment of the Ondo State Government, the commissioner stated that efforts remain focused on implementing people-oriented policies and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing economic growth, improving living standards, and ensuring inclusive development for all citizens.

He concluded by expressing hope that the blessings of Ramadan would bring renewed peace, prosperity, and well-being to individuals, families, and communities across Ondo State.
