AKINSIKU DESCRIBES APPOINTMENT AS SPECIAL ASSISTANT ON MEDIA AS A CALL TO SERVICE

Otunba Oluwapelumi Akinsiku has described his appointment as Special Assistant on Media to the Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Hon. Adeboye Adebare, as a call to serve the people and contribute to effective governance at the grassroots level.

Akinsiku made this known in a statement issued shortly after the announcement of his appointment, where he expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman for the confidence reposed in him.

He noted that the opportunity places on him a responsibility to strengthen communication between the local government administration and the residents of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government.

According to him, his role will focus on ensuring that the policies, programs, and developmental initiatives of the Adebare-led administration are effectively communicated to the public, while also promoting transparency and accountability in governance.

Akinsiku added that the appointment further motivates him to intensify efforts toward improving public awareness of government activities and initiatives aimed at enhancing the welfare of the people.

He also pledged to support the vision of the Executive Chairman by serving as a bridge between the administration and the public through responsible media engagement and professional communication.

“I see this appointment as a special call to service, and I remain committed to diligently making the public aware of the activities and achievements of my principal,” he stated.

Akinsiku further reaffirmed his dedication to professionalism in the discharge of his duties as he supports the administration’s drive for sustainable development across Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government.
