YOUTH ASSEMBLY OF NIGERIA CONGRATULATES SENATOR JIMOH IBRAHIM, AMBASSADOR SOLA IJI ON KEY DIPLOMATIC APPOINTMENTS


The Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ondo State Chapter, has congratulated Senator Jimoh Ibrahim and Ambassador Sola Iji following their recent diplomatic appointments representing Nigeria on the global stage.

In a statement signed by the Speaker of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), Ondo State Chapter, Rt. Hon. Isaiah Oyawale, the youth body described the appointments as well-deserved recognitions of the duo’s experience, leadership capacity, and long-standing commitment to national service.

According to the statement, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim’s appointment as the United Nations Permanent Representative reflects his wealth of experience and contributions to national development and international diplomacy.

The youth assembly noted that the appointment is not only a proud moment for Ondo State but also a significant milestone for Nigeria, expressing confidence that Ibrahim’s presence at the United Nations will help promote Nigeria’s interests while strengthening international cooperation and advancing global peace and sustainable development.

“As youths of Ondo State, we celebrate this milestone and pray that his tenure will bring remarkable achievements, impactful diplomacy, and greater opportunities for our nation on the global stage,” the statement said.

The group also extended its congratulations to Ambassador Sola Iji on his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Russia.

The Youth Assembly described Iji’s appointment as a reflection of his years of dedication, experience, and commitment to national service, adding that his diplomatic role would further enhance bilateral relations between Nigeria and Russia.

The statement expressed optimism that his tenure would deepen cooperation between both countries and promote Nigeria’s interests in the international community.

The youth body further prayed for wisdom, strength, and success for both appointees as they take on their new responsibilities.

Rt. Hon. Isaiah Oyawale reiterated that the Youth Assembly of Nigeria in Ondo State remains proud of the achievements of distinguished sons and daughters of the state who continue to contribute to national and global development.
