GUNMEN KILL TWO RESIDENTS IN AKURE AS POLICE RESCUE KIDNAPPING VICTIMS


Two residents have been reportedly shot dead in Akure, the Ondo State capital, in a tragic incident linked to a suspected kidnapping operation, raising fresh concerns over security in the area.

According to available information, the incident occurred during an attack believed to be carried out by armed assailants who targeted victims in what authorities suspect to be a kidnapping attempt. The situation escalated, leading to the fatal shooting of two individuals.
