IBU OWO MOURNS AS MOTHER, ADUKE AKINTOMIDE, PASSES AWAY


Hon. (Dr.) Abiodun Henry Akintomide, popularly known as Ibu Owo, has announced the passing of his mother, Mrs. Aduke Akintomide, who died in the early hours of today.

In a statement released by the politician, he described his late mother as a woman of remarkable strength, love, and compassion, noting that she was deeply committed to the growth, well-being, and success of her children and those around her.

Mrs. Aduke Akintomide was a retired Principal of a renowned government school, widely respected for her contributions to education and her positive impact on the lives of many students and colleagues throughout her career.

She was married to the late Chief Gabson Olanisimi Akintomide, the Saoku of Ile-Oluji.

Akintomide stated that her life reflected unwavering dedication, sacrifice, and strong family values, adding that her legacy would continue to inspire all who knew her.

He described her death as a sudden and painful loss, noting that it has created a void that cannot easily be filled.

He prayed for the repose of her soul, asking that she finds eternal rest in the bosom of the Almighty.
