NUIS EASTER SOCIAL GATHERING 2026 DRAWS PRAISE AS STUDENTS CELEBRATE UNITY AND SUCCESS
The National Union of Ile-Oluji Students (NUIS), National Headquarters, has expressed gratitude following the successful hosting of its 2026 Easter Social Gathering, describing the event as a remarkable display of unity, collaboration, and student engagement.
The gathering, held on April 3, 2026, brought together students, stakeholders, and youth leaders from across various institutions, creating a platform for interaction, celebration, and community bonding.
In a statement issued by the union’s leadership, NUIS acknowledged what it described as a “successful and impactful outing,” attributing the achievement to the collective efforts of members, partners, and supporters.
The National President of NUIS, Comrade Sen. Ejifunmilayo Faith, popularly known as “Eji Baller,” commended participants for their active involvement and praised the dedication of organizers who worked behind the scenes to ensure a seamless event.
According to the statement, the gathering went beyond social celebration, serving as an avenue to strengthen unity among Ile-Oluji students and promote lasting connections across diverse academic communities.
The leadership also recognized the contributions of its executive team, appointees, and various student bodies, including local NUIS chapters, the National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji chapter, the Students’ Union Government of the institution, the National Female Students Association of Nigeria (NFSAN) Southwest leadership, and the Federation of Ekimogun Students, among others.
“These contributions played a vital role in ensuring the overall success of the event,” the statement noted.
NUIS further emphasized its commitment to fostering unity, growth, and development among students of Ile-Oluji origin, expressing optimism that such initiatives would continue to inspire collaboration and positive engagement within the student community.
The union concluded by reaffirming its vision of building a strong and united student network capable of driving progress and creating meaningful opportunities for its members.
