OIJEFON YOUTHS IGNITE COMMUNITY SPIRIT AHEAD OF ILE-OLUJI MONARCH’S 10TH CORONATION ANNIVERSARY
The Oijefon youths of Ile-Oluji Kingdom on Tuesday staged a vibrant roadshow to raise awareness and build anticipation for the forthcoming 10th Coronation Anniversary of the monarch, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Olufaderin Oluwole Adetimehin, Jimoko II, Jegun Olu-Ékun of Ile-Oluji Kingdom.
The procession moved through major parts of the community, including Odolu, Roundabout, Ajala Streets, and terminated at the Odolua marketplace, attracting widespread attention from residents and traders.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that the roadshow recorded strong participation, with market men and women as well as residents expressing excitement and support for the upcoming anniversary celebration. Many were seen cheering and engaging with the procession as it passed through different areas.
The event concluded at the Palace, where the youths were received by the monarch. In his remarks, Oba Adetimehin commended the youths for their unity, initiative, and commitment to community development. He urged them to remain disciplined, focused, and law-abiding in their activities.
As a gesture of appreciation, the monarch presented the youths with a token of support, further encouraging their involvement in community-building efforts.
The roadshow underscores the growing momentum and communal spirit surrounding preparations for the 10th Coronation Anniversary, which is expected to draw significant participation within and beyond the kingdom.
