HON. ROTIMI AKINWAMIDE CLEARED BY ONDO APC SCREENING COMMITTEE, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO GRASSROOTS REPRESENTATION


Hon. Rotimi Akinwamide, popularly known as “Rotimi Canada,” has been officially cleared by the Ondo State All Progressives Congress (APC) Primary Screening Committee ahead of the party’s forthcoming primary election for the Ondo State House of Assembly.

Akinwamide, who is aspiring to represent the people of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Constituency in the 2027 general election, described his successful screening as a major milestone and a strong indication that his aspiration continues to enjoy growing acceptance and support among party stakeholders and members across the constituency.

Speaking after receiving the results of the screening, the APC aspirant expressed gratitude to the leadership of the party for ensuring a transparent and credible screening process, noting that the development further strengthens internal democracy within the APC in Ondo State.

According to him, the successful clearance has renewed his determination to continue engaging with party members, community leaders, youths, women, and other critical stakeholders across Ile-Oluji and Okeigbo as the primary election approaches.

Hon. Akinwamide stated that his aspiration is driven by a genuine passion for quality representation, people-oriented legislation, and sustainable grassroots development.
