APC PRIMARY: ADEBARE CALLS FOR UNITY AS ILE-OLUJI/OKEIGBO APC MEMBERS HEAD TO POLLS
The Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Hon. Adeboye Adebare, has appealed to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the local government and federal constituency to maintain peace, unity, and discipline during the party’s primary election.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Adebare described the APC primary as a critical democratic exercise aimed at strengthening the party’s internal structure and positioning it for future electoral victories.
The council chairman urged party leaders, aspirants, stakeholders, and supporters to conduct themselves responsibly and demonstrate political maturity throughout the process.
According to him, the APC remains a united political family driven by a common vision for development and progress, adding that internal contests should not create unnecessary division among members.
Adebare also warned against any action capable of disrupting the peaceful conduct of the exercise, stressing that the stability and unity of the party must remain the collective responsibility of all loyal members.
He expressed confidence in the leadership of the party and the credibility of the primary election process, while encouraging members to support whoever eventually emerges as the party’s candidate.
“The APC has continued to grow because of the commitment and cooperation of its members. I therefore urge everyone involved in today’s primary election to conduct themselves peacefully and responsibly, while placing the overall interest of the party above personal ambitions,” Adebare stated.
The chairman further wished all aspirants success and prayed for a smooth, transparent, and credible primary election across the constituency.
The statement was signed by Otunba Oluwapelumi Akinsiku, Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman on Media, and dated May 16, 2026.
