APC RELEASES SCREENING SCHEDULE FOR NATIONAL ASSEMBLY ASPIRANTS AHEAD OF PRIMARY ELECTIONS


The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced the screening timetable for aspirants seeking to contest for Senate and House of Representatives seats ahead of the party’s forthcoming primary elections.

According to a press statement issued on Friday in Abuja by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the screening exercise will take place over two days, from Saturday, May 9 to Sunday, May 10, 2026.

The party stated that Senate aspirants will be screened at the Abuja Continental Hotel, formerly known as Sheraton Hotel, Abuja. The screening sessions are scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. on both days.

For aspirants contesting for seats in the House of Representatives, the screening exercise will hold at Treasures Suites & Conferences, Abuja, also beginning at 10:00 a.m. daily.

The APC urged all aspirants to arrive promptly at their designated venues and ensure they come along with all necessary documents and credentials required for the exercise.

The screening exercise forms part of the party’s preparations ahead of its primary elections expected to produce candidates for the forthcoming National Assembly polls.
