ROTIMI AKINWAMIDE EMERGES WINNER OF APC HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY PRIMARY IN ILE-OLUJI/OKEIGBO


The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced the result of its House of Assembly primary election for the Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo State Constituency in Ondo State.

The result was declared by the party’s Electoral Returning Officer, Hon. Toying Adepoju, before party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters after the collation and compilation of results from the 10 wards across the constituency.

According to the Returning Officer, Mrs. Bosede Akinborede Ayandokun polled a total of 1,444 votes, while Mr. Rotimi Ade Akinwamide secured 3,057 votes in the exercise.

Following the announcement, Hon. Adepoju declared Mr. Rotimi Ade Akinwamide as the winner of the APC primary election and the party’s candidate for the forthcoming Ondo State House of Assembly election for Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Constituency.

Party members and supporters present at the venue applauded the outcome of the exercise, which was conducted across the wards in the constituency.
